SOMEONE STOLE MY SKETCHBOOK! WHO TF STEALS A SKETCHBOOK?!?!?!?! Well, all the physical copies of my work from my time spent in Japan is gone for now. As sad as it is, its another reminder to get back to doing more, and better art work. Its what I call an UNFORTUNATE OPPORTUNITY.

Hello world, deviants, friends, stranger-friends. I know DeviantART is a place we express ourselves in different mediums, and form various communities in that world. I understand that DA has artists from professionals to amateurs, experts to casual. (gamer talk) But I don't understand, much rather, I don't know how to get FEEDBACK on my art. I'm probably a cheapskate, which is why I haven't gone premium for the critique feature...the work I upload probably isn't good enough for that yet anyway. Maybe its my ego, but isn't art (of any kind) supposed to make its spectators feel or think ANY kind of way? But I've noticed I'm not alone in this matter. It would be one thing if people didn't care for a style and kept it moving, but why favorite an artwork or add it to your collection if it brings nothing to your mind or spirit? I'm probably being part of the problem as well, I'll be honest. But isn't it just a little impersonal or alienating? Emotionless drag and drop. Guess I gotta work harder your love. (I'm not.)

I hope everyone is having a sexy and productive summer of 2013!

i think there is so many artwork on DA that when we submit art it just becomes a needle lost in a haystack. I just submit it to as many group as I can so it reaches out to more people. I think maybe on your artwork description you ask people to give you some critique too. All we can do is just keep drawing and posting. :)
